Entry 2

The feeling of this book is flowing to sadness because
Amir saw his friend (Hassan) getting raped by his fellow
friends like Assef, Kamal, and Wali. He couldn't do
anything because he was scared, and now they don't talk
to each other and don't even play with each other.
After sadness it turned to this mood about love, it was
when Amir saw his love Soraya. Soraya is the daughter
of this General, and is very well known in his country.
When the mood turned from sadness to 'love' it made me
keep on reading because it made me curious about what
was going to happen to the young love.

As I keep on reading the theme of the book changes.

- Help others

- Don't take all the pain by yourself

- Don't be selfish

- Share

As I flip the pages I find knew connections between
me and Amir jan. Amir wants all of his attention
from his father but he sometimes doesn’t get it.
That's the same for me because I have an older
brother and my dad just sometimes only cares
about him. That's what I think, but when I ask
my mom she tells me that he likes both of us
equally. The part of the book when Amir gets
attracted to this pretty girl "Soraya,” made a
connection with me because I sometimes get
attracted to pretty girls.

The Kite Runner - Entry1

I am reading the book "The Kite Runner" and it's written by Khaled Hosseini

Khaled Hosseini
Khaled Hosseni was born in Kabulm Afghanistan, in 1965.
His father was a diplomat with the Afghan Foreign Ministry and his mother tuaght Farsi and History at the large hight school in Kabul. The Afgahn Foreign Ministry relocated the Hosseini family to paris, when they were going to return Afghanistand had already witnessed a bloody communist coup and thje invasion of the Soviet army. So in September of 1980 the Hosseinis moved to the states San Jose, California. After he was practicing internists between 1996 and 2004 from the hospital in Los Angeles, while in medical practice he began writing his first novel, The Kite Runner in March of 2001 and was published in 2003.

I read until chapter 8 page 86.

I think the author likes to reveal to the readers what is going to happen before it actually happens. I think I have some common things with Amir. Amir lives in this beautiful house with his father, Hassan, and Ali. When I used to live in Nigeria I also lived with my Mom, Dad, Brother, 3 maids, 2 drivers, and 5 security guards. I was friends with everyone because I was young and I always used to play outside. The part where I feel the connection is when I played with one of the maids’ son, and I still remember his name "Jack".
